Part 5 – Restoration of Child’s Rocking Chair
In this, the last part of the restoration of the child’s rocking chair, you’ll see the final finished piece. The rocking chair has now been finished with the customer’s chosen fabric. It has been re-upholstered with new padding and webbing. The leg has been repaired with a hidden screw. The poles that hold the fabric have been reinforced with resin and hold the new fabric and webbing tightly. The patina of the original rocking chair has been saved with a light waxing.
